A 2-stage planetary geartrain means quick, reliable, maintenance-free operation. Unlike worm-gear winches, which have a messy, high-maintenance oil bath, the Warn Series 20XL's planetary geartrain uses a permanent lubrication system. No mess, no maintenance, no compromises.
